I bought this chip to replace a tow chip that was causing my transmission to shudder when hot.
I had avoiided chops like this that offer power boosts as I just wanted the engine to work well stock
The new chip is so much better than the my old tow.chip
I had been shifting my auto trans manually on steep hills in order to get enough power to get up.
With the new chip in the lowest 40hp mode I no longer have to manually shift
I thought my engine was getting worn out and no longer had much horsepower, but it just needed this chop to operate well.
The transmission also shifts better and smootther
I also have experienced about a 2mpg increase

I recently got home from my first long distance outing with this tuner and I love it. My 2000 F350 Power stroke was enough to drag my slide in camper and 14′ enclosed trailer around but pulling hills at interstate speed felt a little taxing.
